Advanced Open Water

The Advanced Open Water class consists of the Advanced Open Water Diver eLearning course, classroom session, and six open water dives. Mandatory dives are a low visibility dive, deep dive and navigation dive. The student will also complete three more "AOW Core" dives, Underwater Naturalist, Wreck and Light Salvage.

The course fee includes eLearning, instructor fees, air cylinders/fills, and open water facility fees. Dive gear is also not included in the cost of the course. The student is responsible for transportation and housing.

Rescue Diver

The Rescue Diver course will change the way you dive –This continuing education course trains divers in the knowledge and skills needed to manage risks and effectively handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies. The course will include the following: assists, transports, surface rescues and rescues from depth.

This course has prerequisite courses of Advanced Open Water and Diving First Aid.

Master Scuba Diver

The Master Scuba Diver course is for certified divers who wish to increase their understanding and enjoyment of diving. The course is a progression toward NAUI Leadership roles, and some subject areas are a review and expansion of materials from previous courses.

Instructors will specify performance objectives for related courses diving activities and each subject area is a progression in study. This course is 8 Open Water Dives and has prerequisite courses of Advanced Open Water, Rescue and Diving First Aid.

    Whether it’s being on the scene of an accident or witnessing a medical emergency, most people will be involved in a crisis at some point in their lives. First aid training and incident management skills empower people to step up and take action should these situations arise.

  • Enriched Air Nitrox Diver

    Learn how to verify the contents of your cylinder, adjust your dive computer, plan Enriched Air dives and negate risk associated with its use.

  • PSI Visual Cylinder Inspection

    VCI - Visual Cylinder Inspection® Course - This is the core certification course provided by PSI-PCI and in it we teach the regulations and fundamentals of conducting visual inspections of solid wall and composite SCUBA and SCBA cylinders.

  • PSI Valve Repair Technician

    This course provides an overview of valve types, valve repair, care and maintenance. It is approved and contributed to by many valve manufacturers. Students will receive a certificate of completion.re

  • PSI Oxygen Cylinder Cleaning Technician

    Prerequisite: Current PSI-PCI Visual Cylinder Inspector.

    Some people give oxygen little thought. But if you are using oxygen or enriched air in your facility, then you must be trained according to the Federal requirements to handle, manage and clean to specific O2 standards. 

Specialty Scuba Classes Available Upon Inquiry

  • This specialty course provides the diver with the knowledge and skills to plan and make deep dives between 18 and 40m (60 and 130 ft.), minimizing risks.

  • This specialty course for open water scuba certified divers or skin diver certified divers. It provides the diver with the skills and knowledge needed to minimize the risks of diving at night.

  • This specialty course is to provide divers with the skills and knowledge to do perform common underwater tasks and minimize risks of such tasks while searching and recovering items.

  • This specialty course exposes the diver to the physical and biological aspects of the diving environment and the methods used by underwater ecologists in their studies of the respective ecosystems.

  • This specialty course is to provide the certified diver with the skills and knowledge to enjoy underwater digital imagery while minimizing the risks of such activities.

  • This specialty course is to expose the diver to the methods used by underwater archaeologists in their studies and preservation of submerged historic sites.

  • This specialty course is to provide the diver with the skills and knowledge necessary to spearfish, take game and collect specimens while minimizing the diving risks of such activities.

  • This specialty course is to provide the diver with the skills and knowledge needed to gain experience and minimize risks in wreck diving.

  • This continuing education course provides divers with the introductory skills and knowledge needed to gain experience and minimize risks while conducting dives with a DPV in open water.

  • This continuing education course provides the use of dry suits and how to become familiar and comfortable with their thermal protection options, controls, and buoyancy characteristics.

  • This continuing education course provides divers the knowledge and skills to conduct open water dives utilizing a sidemount scuba equipment configuration within the no decompression limits.

  • This continuing education course is to train divers with the necessary procedures, knowledge, and skills to safely dive with a full-face mask.
