Lying on the edge of the Cayman Trench, divers can hover over sheer cliffs whose dark blue waters seemingly never end. With Roatan’s famous walls, divers can enjoy shallow dives on beautiful reefs starting in as little as 15 feet with depths increasing to 200 feet or more. Dives near the trench offer clear water and the opportunity to see pelagics such as whale sharks, dolphins, turtles and rays. Lush coral growths, including rare black coral, can be found in underwater canyons and crevices. The island is completely surrounded by a large reef system, part of the Mesoamerican reef which boasts the largest marine biodiversity in the world and is part of the second longest barrier reef in the World.
Nestled in the exclusive area of Puerto Aventuras, the remarkable coast of Mexico's Caribbean, Riviera Maya is a small paradise to enjoy in style. Discovering its mesmerizing landscapes and captivating beaches is a real pleasure for nature lovers. The Mayan Riviera bears some of the world’s best kept secrets. The cenotes and caverns are located throughout the jungle in an ancient underwater river system. Nowhere else in the world can you enter such magnificently decorated and spiritually sensitive area that opens a whole new realm to your diving ability and experience.
Immerse yourself in the culture of a civilization all but untouched by the western world. Join us as we travel to the Highland Region of Papua New Guinea to experience the ‘Goroka Show’; The longest running and most significant cultural event. We then travel to the coast of Tufi where we will dive the clear, calm and protected waters of the tropical fjords as well as the vibrant reefs surrounding the island, teeming with life. Diving here offers some of the best underwater photography opportunities in the world!
Devilishly deep drop-offs, wicked wreck dives and some of the coolest coral in the Caribbean have made the Cayman Islands a world-class dive destination. Cayman also offers accessible diving on great coral reefs with little to no current. Little Cayman has the Bloody Bay Wall Marine Park, famed for its vibrant colors and dramatic drop offs and swim throughs.
Fiji has a number of labels, from ‘The Soft Coral Capital of the World’ to ‘The Best Shark Diving Location in the World.’ With such titles, it’s easy to call Fiji a world class dive destination that caters to all ages and qualifications. But diving in Fiji has more to offer including wall dives, swim-throughs, caverns, canyons and incredible blue water encounters.
Bonaire, with its fringing reef in close proximity to the shore, about 80 official dive sites, calm waters and good visibility has something to offer for every diver. At Buddy Dive, our custom dive boats invite you to explore the beautiful marine life during a guided dive, or enjoy the convenience of our unique Drive Thru to explore the island’s underwater world at your own pace.
The warmth of the Cuban people is matched only by the warm ocean that surrounds the archipelago country in which the reefs are little explored and undisturbed which gives a unique experience as sea life, in particular, grouper and sharks, are curious and will interact closely with divers. Cuba is home to the second largest reef in the world behind the Australian Great Barrier.
When you plan to go diving Cozumel you should prepare yourself for some great drift dives. Cozumel, a stunning island off the coast of Mexico, close to Cancun, is a world renowned site for divers with a whole lot to offer, mainly drift diving.
